Cortina Leather introduces an industry first Chrome Free Leather
With the Introduction of Ecco-La Cortina enters into the realm of manufacturers offering products that take the earth’s resources into consideration, while combining the innovative technology and sophisticated aesthetic for which Cortina is known for. Ecco-La is one of the first contract leathers produced using a new responsibile tanning technique. The product is designed to generate a chrome-free product. Chrome-free tanning employs an organic mineral that is 100% biodegradable (will decompose safely in the environment) and will not product a metal-containing ash if incinerated.
