Duralee Fabrics Becomes Exclusive US Distributor for Clarke and Clarke, Source 4 Interiors to the Trade Fabrics

BAY SHORE, New York June 6, 2011. Duralee Fabrics, offering high quality products to the interior design market since 1952, announced today that it will begin distributing products from Clarke and Clarke, a UK-based fabric and wall coverings design company. This is a strong and natural union, as both Duralee and Clarke and Clarke are family-run businesses, which emphasize personal service and impeccable quality.

Duralee Fabrics is the fastest growing decorative fabrics company in the home fashion industry today. Duralee has five divisions: Duralee Contract, Highland Court, Suburban Home, Owners Select, and Cavalier Furniture. Together they currently offer an inventory of 25,000 sku’s. Duralee emphasizes function and durability. The company continues to add more designs and colors to meet the needs of its clients.

Clarke and Clarke products are designed in the UK and are warehoused in both the US and the UK. Clarke and Clarke is recognized as one of the leaders in the world of home fashion. The new relationship between Duralee and Clarke and Clarke will be beneficial to both companies. Both companies have a loyal customer base and both will build from this base. Clarke and Clarke  contemporary designs will complement those already in Duralee extensive offerings. Duralee has already begun introducing Clarke and Clarke products into their showrooms. Sample books will be distributed in July 2010. By July 2011, the plan is to have at least 20 collections in the market. Products include silk and cotton, and luxury silk. The coordinated collection offers both woven and printed textiles and wall coverings, giving designers a wide range of choice.
